The name on the can is Maximum Comfort Shave Gel, and that is exactly what you get; a rich thick shave.  One of the first things I look for in a shave gel is some type of moisturizer listed as an ingredient, and Lab Series has aloe.  Aloe helps to comfort the skin and reduce irritation, in addition to making the shave enjoyable. If I have to scrape my face everyday, I want it to feel rich when I’m done. Ingredients also include Green Tea Extract, which helps revitalize your skin, and leave you with a nice clean finish to your shave.

My only  disappointment with this product is the packaging. I picked up the metal can by its cover, which is not real secure, and dropped it on the tile floor and the dispenser top broke off. The good news is I was still able to use the product. Lab, make the cover click on!

While I consider myself very open minded, I'm not always one to change my shave routine.  However, I'm a believer in the Lab Series line.  At $15 for the shave gel it may pricey, but aren't you worth it?  I used this shave gel along with the Lab Series Smooth Shave Oil  and experienced one of the best shaves ever.
